-
The ideal choice if you are ready to put in the work to build or bolster your mental health foundation. If you’re looking to improve your mental health, learn more about yourself, and build resilience for more challenging times or a current challenge, this is likely a great fit. I work with both children and adults on an individual basis. Typically, when working one-on-one with children, parent sessions are also a major component.
-
Ideal for a current, expecting, or hopeful parent looking for guidance on how to support their child’s healthy development. This is a great option for parents of young children under 5 - I have extensive experience coaching parents around managing the more challenging moments, like tantrums and limit setting, as well as making the most out of the more joyful or peaceful moments of parenting. Parent coaching is also a great fit for hopeful or expectant parents who want to plan ahead and approach parenting with intention. For children over 5, I typically recommend individual therapy for the child in addition to parent coaching.

Short-term work (~2 sessions) to discuss current mental health challenges, strengths, and goals. A mental health consultation can be thought of as similar to a check-up you would do at a doctor’s office. This is an ideal option for someone who is generally feeling mentally well but looking for improvement and insight. Consultations conclude with recommendations for making progress toward mental health goals. These recommendations vary considerably from client to client. They often include suggestions such as relevant books, workbooks, or general topics to learn more about. For some clients, recommendations may include therapy.

Short-term work (~2 sessions) to address caregivers’ concerns or questions about their child’s development, behavior, and/or mental health. This process will involve information gathering from caregivers (and sometimes children) via questionnaires and interview. Then, l will provide recommendations that address caregiver concerns and support the child’s healthy development. These recommendations vary considerably from client to client. They often include suggestions such as relevant books, workbooks, or general topics to learn more about. For some clients, recommendations may include therapy.

frequently asked questions
Who is therapy for?
Therapy is for everyone who recognizes the value of personal growth, self-reflection, and well-being. It's not just for those facing serious challenges; it's for those who seek a space for exploration, understanding, and empowerment. Whether you're navigating life transitions, aiming for personal development, or simply desiring a confidential and supportive environment to share your thoughts, therapy is a resource for anyone who thinks it could help them lead a more fulfilling and balanced life. In short, you don't need a 'serious' problem to benefit from therapy; it's a tool for everyone on the journey to a healthier, more intentional self.
Do you offer online or in-person therapy?
Currently, I only provide therapy online/virtually.
How much does it cost to work with you?
My rate is $250/session for one-on-one therapy and parent coaching. The rate for a one-time mental health consultation is $500.
What will therapy be like?
Therapy varies from person to person and session to session. When working with me, you can anticipate a few consistent themes. First and foremost, sessions are primarily client-directed, empowering you to set the priorities, whether discussing recent events or addressing long-standing challenges. Additionally, sessions may involve learning skills or engaging in activities that support mental wellness, tailored to your unique goals. More often than not, I incorporate homework assignments, such as practicing learned skills, journal prompts, or self-care activities, recognizing my experience that therapy's effectiveness is enhanced when integrated into everyday life.
Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance at this time. However, I am happy to provide a 'super bill,' which is a detailed invoice you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. If you're hoping to be reimbursed for therapy, I recommend calling your insurance provider beforehand to inquire about their reimbursement rate for behavioral/mental health.
