Options for solving any problem
Encountering something uncomfortable, challenging, or distressing can feel very daunting. Some of us go into fight-or-flight; some of us go straight to avoidance because it’s just too much. But going into impulsive action or hiding under the covers rarely helps the situation. I find the framework below to be so helpful in these situations, because there are actually few (four, to be exact) options at our disposal for approaching ANY problem we encounter.
